Vehicle Description I have a 1978 F-150 Short Bed, 2 door, 4x4, 351-M motor, 4 speed manual transmission for sale.
Runs and drives great, it has been almost a daily driver for me since I purchased the truck.
Turns heads everywhere I drive it.
Truck was purchased about 6 months back, unclear of mileage since the gauge cluster has been replaced.
I had the truck brought to a mechanic to make sure everything was working properly and anything that needed to be taken care of mechanically, was taken care of.
The truck has new tie rods, new drum brakes, new distributor wires, new spark plugs, new fuel filter, new American Racing wheels, regular oil and filter changes, etc.
The interior of the truck is in excellent condition.
It was brought to a restoration company where it was stripped down and re-done.
New seals, new door panels, new vinyl floor liner, new opening rear-window, new head liner, interior dash was sanded down and painted professionally, new bench seat upholstery.
The plan for the truck was a complete restoration, and I only got as far as the interior and the mechanics, and unfortunately I need to sell.
Body is in very good condition, perfect candidate for a complete exterior restoration.
I have taken many detailed pictures of every angle I can think of so you have an excellent idea of the exact physical condition of the truck.
Truck is currently stuck in 4x2 mode, I have brought the truck to a mechanic who can fix that issue but unfortunately do not have the money to make that repair at this time.
